Conversations Book Club, in partnership with Bestselling author Diane Dorce' and FireFly Publishing, will be hosting a "Book Lovers Day" in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, May 31, 2008. The event will take place at the Comfort Inn (795 Pollard Blvd.) in Atlanta, and will be geared at authors, book club members and book lovers throughout the state to come together and discuss what unites them all: BOOKS!
SATURDAY, MAY 31, 2008
11-12:45p.m. --- Meet and greet with authors and book lovers
1-2:30p.m. --- FORUM: The Business of Books ( authors discusss the joys and politics of publishing)
2:45-4:00p.m. --- FORUM: The Pros and Cons of Book Clubs
4:15-5:30p.m.--- What ATL is reading? Book lovers speak about what's hot and what's not.
Each session will be moderated by Conversations Book Club President Cyrus A. Webb. Guest authors include Bestselling authors Diane Dorce' (author of DEVIL IN THE MIST and 52 BROAD STREET) AND Thomas Green ( author of LOVE'S HOME RUN, COURTING MISS THANG, PLAYER NO MORE and TABU).
Admission to the day's events is free, and there will be light refreshments provided by FireFly Publishing.
